BY GRACE NOT BY GRADE

Nobody succeed in life by GRADE but by GRACE! Our qualification, experience and knowledge and skill alone cannot guarantee us to succeed but by God's grace. What grade cannot do, grace can do better. Therefore, - If success is by grade, David would not have become king, despite Eliab was more qualified with better physical grade than him - If success is by grade, Mary couldn't have become the vessel through which our Lord Jesus would come into the world. Because there were better virgins in the land than her - If success is by grade, Esther would not have qualified to be chosen as queen to replace Aueen Vatshi, because there were more beautiful maidens in the kingdom who competed with her - If success is by grade, Joseph could not have become the touch bearer among the sons of Jacob. But grace found him and made him the saviour and deliverer of his generations - If success is by Grade, Peter, the professional fisherman, would have caught many fishes before Jesus entered his boat. But when Jesus entered his boat, grace was activated and he caught many fishes. So, GRACE is the IMPETUS for success and not GRADE. Understand that, Grace is available to everyone, regardless of your past life, or performance, errors or omissions, qualifications or background. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) We only earn this grace through God's unconditional love, demonstrated by Jesus Christ, our Lord!

THERE IS PROTECTION IN CORRECTION

According to an adage, a child that despises elders' correction is threading the part of destruction. Everybody in life, no matter the age, education, wealth and intellectual background, is prone to committing errors or mistakes. This makes us human. Correction is one of the means to salvage us from the damage that may result from our errors or mistakes, by a corrector, who may likely be a friend or relative, older, wiser, or more experienced than us in life. DEADLINE AS DEATH-TRAP

One of the greatest undoing of mankind in an attempt to accomplish things in life is to foolishly set unattainable deadlines for themselves. Rather than plan, act, and strategize with the wisdom of God, by following His leading, they ignorantly out of self-pride and self-confidence think they can plan their way to success. The Holy Bible says, there are many plans in the heart of men, but it is the will of God that MUST prevail (Proverbs 19:21). Setting deadlines for yourself means you are acting on your wisdom and knowledge, and outside God's perfect timing and will. It means you are ignorant of God's control of time and season.
