RUSH AND CRUSH!

I have been wondering, why is everybody always rushing in life? There is so much rat race in the human race! The simple short answers are: - The fear of impatience. - Because we feel we are late. - Lack of understanding of God’s timing There are always dangers and risks associated with RUSH-ing; you may be stampeded or you stampede someone in the game of life. RUSH syndrome manifests when we have not planned our time or life very well. This happens when we discover that we are getting late in achieving success in some areas of our lives; marriage, career, education, ministry, or even business. Hear me; nothing done in haste (RUSH) ends well, because you are prone to errors and mistakes. Rushing happens when people, including family and friends, are mocking you by saying that you have not achieved some things at a certain age! Then, you begin to fret and get agitated, looking for a faster solution. In fact, because of anxiety, the devil suggests to you a faster approach, which he knows will CRUSH you in the end! SO, BE WISE AND SENSITIVE! Let’s look at what RUSH means: R- Running U-Under S-Satanic H-Hook Many have lost their lives or been maimed because they rushed into marriage, simply because they think they are getting older! Many young lives have been CRUSHED due to the QUICK RICH syndrome! Many have lost fortune and business because they RUSH into it without due diligence! When you RUSH to get what is not yet time for you, it will CRUSH you! According to the Holy Book, Proverbs 28:20, “A faithful man/woman (who waits for God) shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh HASTE to be rich shall not be unpunished.” (emphasis mine) Yes, it’s true the saying, “make hay while the sun shines”, which means we should maximize and optimize our time, but life does not require haste (RUSH), but tact--working and planning strategically and tactically, coupled with God's grace and mercy! Whatever it is that you want in life; dream about it, plan it, work hard at it, pray, follow, and wait for God’s timing! No tree produces fruit out of season; if it happens, such fruits will be premature! You can’t RUN (RUSH) past the timing of God for your life. Only align yourself to His divine purpose and you will get to that expected end (Jeremiah 29:11)! Shalom!
