LEAVE THE CROWD

According to Max Lucado, “a man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd.” What this simply implies is that, sometimes you need to withdraw out of the crowd into yourself and turn your back on somethings. In the crowd, you will suffocate and gets intimidated. You can’t be in the crowd and be still to hear the still small voice speak into your subconscious. You will only hear the voice of the people and not the voice of God! Leaving the crowd is a sure step to self-discovery and self-actualisation! Therefore, 1. Leave the crowd and stand alone. A crowd is a place of confusion and chaos. You cannot crow in the crowd and be heard. Other’s crow will subsume your crow, And you will be lost in the crowd 2. It’s time to break from the mould of excusists, Let your entity announce your identity, Let your gift provoke your lifting, And hold your head in gold. Turn your base metal (raw talent) into gold, And your greatness will be in the fold of succeeders. 3. Leave the crowd of negativists And the fold of cynics and pessimists, It’s time to leave their fold, and stand alone. And be bold to cross the threshold, To take hold of your gold. 4. It takes nothing to join the crowd, but it takes everything to leave the crowd To stand alone takes sacrifices, determination, discipline, compromise, and unbroken principles. To stand alone, you must be ready to lose friends, families and acquaintances. To stand alone, you must be ready to endure the loneliness of a dissertation. If out of a hundred people, only you are right and others are wrong, stand alone, Remember, liars have many friends, but a truthful person have few friends! Remember, 2 Corinthians 6:17 says, “Therefore, come out from among them and be separate”, says the Lord. It’s a call to stand out from the crowd and be outstanding in all your endeavours! Is God leading you away from "the crowd" you hang out with to discover yourself within His plan? Be encouraged to follow Him, whatever the cost. Don’t hesitate! Shalom!

Is it just me or time really flies, it's already February 3rd ,one month is gone in the year. Most people are still warming up to go, but , there is something called the power of inertia the end of the year brings. Inertia is the tendency of a body to maintain its state of rest or uniform motion unless acted upon by an external force. Big definition for a simple concept.
